Slayer concert on Monday

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

Yesterday I attended a concert with the legendary trash metal group Slayer in Oslo Spectrum. Pretty good concert but unfortunately the sound was not that good. Still, a nice experience together with good friends and an excellent excuse for drinking beer on a Monday.

New equipment on its way!

This season I rented my club’s WW Falcon 2 195 for a few weeks, but these gliders are so fun flying that I have wanted one for myself for a couple of years now. So some weeks ago I asked Alf Oppøyen, the Norwegian Will Wing dealer, for the price of a new Falcon 3. But instead Alf suggested that I could buy his less than one year old demo glider (with custom colours!). Alf was going to fly the glider at Lanzarote in November before I take it over – and I can’t wait.

Picture of the new “baby” from Ringerud August 16th, me flying the club’s Falcon 2, and Alf the Falcon 3 that I am about to buy.

It has been a while since my last report here. Nothing much has been happening, but I will come back shortly with some pictures and a brief report from this years hang glider course in Oslo.

One skilled and lucky pilot!

This should not be possible!
